SCWA - PATC Joint Hikes

HIKING IN THE SLEEPY CREEK
WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AREA

On September 10, 22 hikers from Morgan County and neighboring areas visited parts of the Sleepy Creek Wildlife Management Area. They climbed Eagles's Nest and then descended into Devil's Nose Gorge where they crossed Meadow Branch and climbed to the top of Devil's Nose for lunch. It was a beautiful day with visits to the rhodedendron thickets and walks through the hemlocks along Meadow Branch.
